I recently visited the beautiful Island of Guernsey, only an hour’s flight from Manchester. The island is full of history and character, with many options to explore the neighbouring islands of Herm & Sark. St Peters Port the islands capital has a lovely harbour, stunning sunrises and lots of fabulous places to eat and drink. A compact island which is 12 miles by 6 miles, it can easily be explored by car/bus where you will discover many WWII attractions and amazing beaches.
